At the heart of Wild Oasis is an unusual wildlife composition, led by the graceful giraffe. Set against a vivid Peacock Blue ground, the body unfolds with giraffes, lions, elephants, and spotted deer, surrounded by trees, foliage, geometric elements, and small stylised human figures. Together, they create the feeling of a landscape unfolding across the saree.
The giraffe is the defining motif, appearing repeatedly in carefully arranged compositions across the body. Around it, the other animals and natural elements create a sense of movement and balance. The smaller details — from the trees and foliage to the figurative elements — reward a closer look and give the saree its distinctive character.
As the composition moves towards the Ripe Plum anchal, the design becomes more ornamental, with floral medallions, scrolling forms, and closely worked woven bands. The Half Tissue construction, with zari woven into the border and anchal, adds a subtle metallic sheen to the saree while allowing the silk and colours to remain the focus.
