There is a quiet rhythm running through this saree, the circular movement of the Rupachakra, the delicate forms of birds, and the repeated motifs that bring the entire composition together. Woven in deep Navy Blue and Royal Blue, it is a study in symmetry, movement and the intricate visual language of Sambalpuri textiles.

At the heart of the body sits the distinctive Rupachakra motif, its circular form unfolding through curling lines and floral details. Around it, parrot motifs appear among the foliage, adding a sense of life and movement to the otherwise geometric composition. Smaller floral and traditional motifs are scattered across the field, creating a gentle rhythm between the larger elements.

The saree is framed with Royal Blue accents and a richly patterned traditional border, where geometric forms and fine gold-toned details add depth against the darker ground. The Anchal brings the elements together in a more elaborate composition, with the Rupachakra, parrots, foliage and floral motifs arranged in layered bands that gradually build towards the pallu.

Woven in the Sambalpuri handloom tradition, this saree brings together two contrasting ideas, the ordered geometry of the Rupachakra and the natural movement of birds and foliage. The result is a design that feels both structured and alive.

A saree where the rhythm of the wheel meets the freedom of the parrot, woven into the timeless language of Sambalpuri craft.
