Rare Resha
Sambalpuri handloom saree

Our Story

Rare Resha · Reh-sha

Resha is the Sanskrit-derived word for thread and fibre.

A name inspired by the belief that every handwoven thread carries a rare story, heritage and legacy worth preserving.

Growing up in Odisha, Sambalpuri sarees were always around us. At weddings, festivals and family celebrations.

For generations, Sambalpuri handloom has been a symbol of artistry, patience and cultural pride.

Yet despite the craftsmanship behind them, many of these masterpieces remain known only to a small audience.

That's why

We started Rare Resha to bring authentic Sambalpuri handloom to people who value timeless craftsmanship.

By working directly with artisan weavers, we hope to celebrate their work, preserve a rich cultural heritage and help ensure that this extraordinary tradition continues for generations to come.
